Are you interested in a new Special Needs Teaching post? Are you an experienced Special Needs teacher who has taught the primary age group? We have an excellent Special Needs teaching job in the Dartford area from April 2010. An exciting opportunity has arisen at this Special Needs Behaviour and Learning School based in the Dartford area of Kent. We are looking to recruit a Primary level Special Needs Teacher with experience of teaching across both Key Stage 1 and 2. The has recently moved into brand new purpose build facilities. We are looking for a special needs teacher who: - Is primary trained- Can teach easily across the primary Key Stages- Has experience of all areas of the curriculum- Has the energy and enthusiasm to engage students from the outset- Is reflective and can work off their own initiative- Can work in a structured and organised way A mainstream primary background would be an advantage. This is initially a temporary post starting in April 2010 but has the potential to go permanent for the right candidate. Senior Backup Support Engineer [TSM] Principal Accountabilities• 24 x 7 Systems support for the centralised IBM TSM infrastructure• Systems Maintenanceo Upgradeso TSM server builds and client node administrationo Firmware and software levels• Change Assessments & implementations• Implementing work Requests• Reacting to logged incidents and requests.• Liaison with 3rd party service centres and engineers as required:o HDS managed service supporto IBM Service centre• Management of the following components:o TSM librarieso TSM server nodes• Provide support TSM centralised backup environments:o Day to day scheduling & regular review of backup policieso Ensure all customer required retention periods for data are satisfiedo Take part in the test data restore procedureo Monitor success rates and implement workarounds/re-runs as required• Maintain client node registration audit trail• Disaster Recoveryo Testing as directed by the IS DR Co-ordinatoro Implementation of DR services upon invocationo Planning of DR strategies• Backup performance tuning as required• Systems Monitoring, to be proficient in the use of vendor specific monitoring tools: • Systems Securityo Respond to vulnerability reports as requested by the Capita ITS Security Team.o Implement actions identified as part of the aboveo Review and implement actions based on security alerts issued by the Capita ITS and external vendors as required.• Engage and assist the MSI Technical Lead:o Capacity planning of the TSM estate• Proof of concept and research and development projects:o Review customer requests for serviceo Take part in customer due diligence exerciseso Review and report on new products and technologies as requiredo Integrate new solutions into current service environment• Create and provide input to the following reports:o Daily backup status reporto Other team activity reports as requested by the Team Leader Essential Experience/Skills Operating system skills required:AIX administration skills [5year+] – LPARs and standaloneBackup software experience required:TSM v5.5 upwards [5 years+ as administrator + problem determination, multiple TSM servers]Experience of TSM tuning, upgrading, problem determination, LAN free backups.TSM 6.x would be an advantage.TSM Agent configuration on Solaris/HP-UX/AIX/Linux platforms.Experience of working with VTL technology
