Manage business critical projects Join a very established and innovative team High level career development offered This newly created role is due to the expansion of the IT solutions delivery team, which is now involved in a wide range of projects covering both business and development areas. Based in the heart of the CBD you will have the opportunity to work within one of the most recognised insurance company’s in the country. Reporting directly to the Program Director and with a close association to the Chief Information Officer, the Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the end to end delivery and execution of the overall program, the management of the design and planning activities within the program, for establishing strong project governance to ensure successful project delivery, For the creation and management of budget forecasts and actuals, for the selection and appointment of team members, for the management of internal communication and relationships with stakeholders and team members, and for the management of key vendors appropriately in conjunction with procurement. You should have excellent project management and team leadership skills and experience founded on at least two large successful SAP implementations. As Senior Project Manager should have a proven track record in IT, in systems implementations, in successfully driving business transformation based on best practice, and should have excellent organisational change management and stakeholder management skills and experience. Professional training and certification in project management, and in SAP implementation methodologies, whilst not essential is highly desirable.
