A Customer Quality Team Leader role has been created at Cummins Power Generation in Ramsgate, Kent for an individual with Quality and engineering experience. Cummins Power Generation is a worldwide provider of electrical generators and power generation systems, components and services in standby power, distributed power generation, as well as auxiliary power in mobile applications to meet the needs of a diversified customer base. We need an experienced Customer Quality Team Leader to further strengthen the Quality team and continue to provide a world-class service to our customers. We are now seeking a highly experienced Customer Quality Team Leader to join the highly skilled team. Duties include: Act as the primary contact and understand Customer and end user concerns and feedback actions Own Customer concerns through reporting, containment, initial and longer term solutions and demonstrate total supply chain capability Liaise with CPGK departments in order to identify and implement Customer focused continual improvement Manage the Customer Quality Technicians and Administrators in day to day activities and support the Quality Manager as required Champion and lead CPGK document control systems, processes and audits. The Customer Quality Team Leader should ideally have a Degree in Quality or equivalent and have engineering experience. You should also have demonstrable experience of working in a customer facing environment, ideally in the automotive, power or gas industry. The ideal applicant would also be Six Sigma trained, have supply chain capability and a proven track record in effective people management. This role requires a talented individual with a passion for quality, a strong customer focus and the ability to work toward continuous improvement and effective management.
